It's only bad management when you lose one or more of those great players when its time to pay them, like St.Louis adding Faulk and losing Pietrangelo over it. So far that hasn't happened in Vancouver. We'll see the fate of Boeser for instance but there is still time to make everything work. Even another bridge to wait out Eriksson
Well he might have told them he wasn’t going to resign with them, most of the time the team and players keep it quiet.
For some reason they felt the need to target and sign other Dmen, I doubt they did it for no reason
