I ran through 5 simulations each on Tankathon and NHL Numbers. Tankathon had Ottawa @ #1 twice and 4th twice. NHL numbers had Ottawa @#1 once, second 3 times, and 4th one time.

Each time I ran the simulator, it ended with Cody Ceci getting a 6 year extension.

Just ran it 1000 times, Colorado won the 1st ov pick 18.5% of the time.

Well at least the meltdown over this event that doesn't actually effect us at all should provide some short term entertainment. If anything it's probably better our pick hits 1st overall, keep Hughes out of conference.

i'm expecting Colorado to draft 4th. I played with those simulators all year long and 90% of the time they ended 4th with the Sens pick.

If you've been a Sens fan long enough you already know how this will play out. Colorado will pick 1st overall. Guaranteed.

Also - next year the Sens will finish dead last and drop to 4th in the lottery.

It's fate.

meh.....the shine has kinda diminished off Hughes for me. It kinda feels like he "Tavarased" his draft year. Not sure how it will affect him as an NHLer, but it really feels like he isn't the slam-dunk star people were talking about last year. Or maybe it's just bitterness on my part.
