Exceptionally well put together, and great fun!

The trade values seem to be way off for what actual GMs would accept though. For example, to trade back from #16 to #22, the return is only ~#162.

It may fit into a statistical analysis correctly, but moving from #16 to #22 on draft day would more likely net a pick in the low 30- low 40 range.

Certainly not complaining though. It's as addictive as you warned!

What are your pre-loaded draft rankings based on? A consensus or your own ?

Draft rankings are not consensus at all but come from 18 months of our team of ten evaluators hitting the rinks and producing these rankings. The randomness factor slide is there for those who disagree with our rankings. We have scouts from coast to coast in Canada, the midwest USA, and in Europe.

On the trade values we have heard this same feedback and a few others from multiple sources and will be making changes to correct these in a few days.

I've played it a fair bit. Very good job shout out to the developer.
2 suggestions.
1. I changed my mind available unless its past your pick
2. Search for player (one search searches both lists (drafted/undrafted)
make it 3
3. Resize should work better. Screen width especially

Are the team needs random or did you guys decide them? If you decided them, im pretty sure offensive RHD is not the sharks biggest need lol

Just saw this and had been playing with it for the last week or so.

Great job, even more fun/challenging thought exercises with the randomness turned all the way up  wish I had more critical feedback but honestly I'm just stoked to see this exists and functions so well!

Nice job.

Main comment is that your draft order doesn't match the actual approach. It would be more accurate to use the points percentage than standings, since that's how the NHL will order the draft, notwithstanding play in results.

Thanks for adapting the draft seeding to reflect points percentage. Great stuff!
