2. Stall (can't deny the bloodlines, although I like Ryan alot too)
4. Backstrom (very complete player, already pro-ready)
5. Brule (though it depends how injuries take their toll on him)
7.Skille ( I like his speed and skill)
8. Mueller ( I like the size, playmaking ability)
13. Zagrapan ( HUGE offensive upside)
17. Lewis ( more safe than the risky Hanzal)
19. Kindl (I've seen him play alot... he's gonna be a top pairing d-man)
25. Coglinano ( he'll thrive in the new NHL)
27. Vishnevsky ( I barely know Joe Finley so.....)
30. Correnete ( again, Mihkalic may be TOO big for the new NHL)

why not do the entire first round?

apples to oranges comparing a goalie to a forward, or a D-man...
was strictly comparing D-men to D-men, and forwards to forwards (there were no goalies chosen in the same position)...

most people are going to go with Crosby over EJ, but if EJ becomes the 4th greatest D-man ever and Crosby becomes the 10th best forward ever (purely hypothetical)....it's much more difficult to compare, and people would probably still assume Crosby had a greater career b/c of the massive amount of points that he would have....
