Calgary traded D Jordan Leopold, Calgary’s 2nd round pick in the 2006 Entry Draft (59th overall) and future considerations to Colorado for LW Alex Tanguay.

Montreal traded its 1st round pick in the 2006 Entry Draft (16th overall) to San Jose for San Jose’s 1st round pick (20th overall) and 2nd round pick (53rd overall) in 2006.

Los Angeles traded C Pavol Demitra to Minnesota for C Patrick O’Sullivan and Edmonton’s 1st round pick in the 2006 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 17th overall).

Boston traded G Andrew Raycroft to Toronto for the rights to G Tuukka Rask.

Atlanta traded C Patrik Stefan and D Jaroslav Modry to Dallas for C Niko Kapanen and Dallas’ 7th round pick (210th overall) in the 2006 Entry Draft.

New Jersey traded its 1st round pick in the 2006 Entry Draft (25th overall) to St. Louis for Carolina’s 1st round pick (previously acquired, 30th overall) and Vancouver’s 3rd round pick (previously acquired, 77th overall) in 2006.
