News Article: Donskoi saved hometown skateboarding hall

Joonas Donskoi, who is originally from Raahe, Finland, saved a local skateboarding hall Pulju from financial troubles.

Donskoi used to be a skateboarder, but hasn't tried it in years. He said he'll try it in the near future, like this summer, again.

He mentioned that skate boarding is pretty popular in San Jose so I think it is pretty good for everyone if they hear about this side of his background. Never hurts anyone if that increases for example jersey sales at least a bit

Yup, San Jose has a legendary skateboarding scene and culture. Some notables include Steve Caballero, Salman Agah, and Jerry Hsu.

I'll make sure to bring it up to Joonas if I ever get the chance!

Jerry Hsu’s part in Bag of Suck is one of my all time favorites. Lots of cool spots in San Jose. The third spot he hits is right by the Shark tank off Meridian. I always drive past it and struggle to comprehend how he hits that gap.

Awesome to see Donskoi giving back to the skateboarding community!
