He has built a current roster suited for about 10 years ago (Hayes, Beleskey, Backes McQuaid, K Miller), needs to evolve to the current NHL.

He was interviewed during the Harvard/Huskies game. Mostly talked about the prospects, but his insights are a little scary when talking about the Bruins. First said how they played so many games and the break will do them good. Trades are hard because so many teams are still in it and it should change closer to deadline. He thought last game was a good comeback by the team. He does certainly sound like he is looking to buy.

That is worrisome. Last game was good? They scrapped to play comeback against the Leafs. Yeah, yeah...I know, Leafs are on the upswing, but they are far from a powerhouse. Good grief!

Sweeney should stick to what he does best, scouting NCAA players, and give up pretending to be an NHL GM.

Coward with no clear plan. I still don't know if:

1. He thinks this current roster is a playoff team (then he has **** poor scouting of NHL teams and talent.)
2. He thinks this team is NOT a playoff team (then why fire Julien if he is producing above expectations?)

Either way, I am now past having him here if they miss the playoffs. Todays message to the fans was that this was a playoff team so everyone here and all fans should expect him to be a buyer to get this team into the playoffs. Anything less contradicts the firing and should cost him his job in April.
