Does the CFL need to switch to NFL rules?

I think CFL should have smaller field, but I think NFL should adopt Rouge.

I think you have that backwards. The NFL altered the passing rules to open up the passing and move it from a rushing focused game whereas the CFL has always been a 65-70% passing game.

That maybe true but the forward pass in general was adopted by Canada.

In a bit of irony, I heard someone (sorry, I don't remember who) recoomend that American football increase the size of the field.

Why?

The players are faster, stronger, and hit harder in the modern era than ever before.

I'm not going to derail the thread. I'm just pointing out an observation I once heard.
