Such an incredible moment lost in the annels of time. It was like he just willed the blackhawks defenseman to cough up the puck to him so he could bat it out of mid air and go in alone in the final seconds. Simply amazing...

It's funny how a lot of Gretzky's special goals were in the empty net, mere coincidence of course.

His 500th goal, his 50 in 39, his #802 may as well have been since Kirk McLean was way out of position.
