Hey, I want to give a happy birthday message to my big hockey fan of a sister on the jumbotron at the game on Tuesday, but I have no clue how to do so. Does anyone know? It would be much appreciated.

^this^

And also, as a former usher, I can't stress the following point enough:

(taken verbatim from the link provided by HoH)
Please note that all Senators' Special Greetings are to be submitted in writing and MUST BE SUBMITTED 24 HOURS BEFORE THE GAME

I probably got yelled at, at minimum, once every 3 games, as someone would approach me in the 1st period asking for their kid's name to go on the jumbotron in the 2nd intermission. We need more than 45 minutes notice for these things, haha.

I took my girlfriend to a Sens game and I asked them to put up on the big screen "I luv ya *****"! Kind of a private joke with us but they wouldn't do it.

Seriously. I was expecting a fee but holy crap that's a lot for a 2 second message. I think something in the nieghbourhood of $20-$30 is what I would be comfortable paying.

It's jumbotron time they would otherwise sell as ad space for 5x the price.

It is what it is. :bb:
