Does anyone else miss Kunin?

I think Bonino is a better immediate fit and we also got Marat. Kunin was limited physically and I'm glad Guerin moved him instead of JEE & Greenway, they both have more upside.
Based on what?

Yeah, this shit never gets old

That’s fair, but to me Kunin/Ek top 6 is miles better than Rask or Bjugstad and Bonino.

But the end game doesn't have Kunin or Ek in your top 6. Just because they're better than what you have now, doesn't mean you plan your future with them in spots they can't play. Kunin on a winning team is either a quality 3rd line RW or a decent 2nd line RW. The Wild have more middle 6 wingers than they could ever use. There's an argument to be made that Greenway/Foligno should've been moved before Kunin, but there isn't much of an argument based on Kunin playing center.

Okay now explain how what you have just shown me indicates how Greenway has more upside.

So you'd agree that Spurgeon was the best defenseman on the team last year?

He's the same age, is currently the better player, is bigger, stronger, faster, better puck handler, better passer.

Honestly, the "upside" angle is probably the worst possible way that you could go with this argument. Greenway's upside is ridiculous.

Just to be clear, you've already failed to show me how your stats indicate Greenway has more upside, but you seem to want to move on anyway.

Only if you want to give Spurgeon credit for getting hurt

Yeah, those 7 games. What a massive break for him. Without them he might've only been ahead of everyone else, and not massively ahead of everyone else.

And per 60 numbers don't really give a shit about missing a few games.

that's 10% of the season. Do you think if Suter or Brodin missed time that Spurgeon's numbers would go up?

Does anyone have a premium account in elite prospects? Could check their measurables. Based upon what I could see, Greenway had slightly higher measurables. Though, that doesn’t mean he has a higher ceiling.

That being said, I do believe Greenway has a higher ceiling though not as likely to reach. Whereas I think Kunin has a lower ceiling but far more likely to reach. Pick your poison

Hard to argue with that great data

Do you think Greenway, Hartman and Foligno were better players last year than Fiala, Staal and Zuccarello?

I think those 3 guys filled their roles much better than Staal and Zuccarello did theirs. Fiala's icetime was a joke.

Of Course, your argument doesn't make much sense when comparing players with different roles on the team, whereas my comparison was of 3 guys that spent a lot of the season on the same line.

No.

The Wild still have another Kunin on roster in Hartman. One is enough.

Watching Coyle playing Center for Boston, I miss him a lot more than Kunin. Who’d we get for Coyle, again?

Initially Donato and a 4th round pick, which we traded with a 3rd round pick for Hunter Jones.

So, Jones and a 3rd round pick

Well Kunin is likely to have a decent career in this league. Expansion makes it palatable.

As an aside, twice the Wild had 3 WJC Captains in the system.

2012: Johan Larsson, Sweden, who won, Mikael Granlund, Finland, All Star, Jason Zucker USA.

2017: Kaprizov, All Star, leading scorer, Ek, Sweden, top ten scorer, Kunin, USA, who won. Greenway had his coming out party in that tornament as well.

All have had at the least a decent career as well.
