Once the Nuggets lost to the Lakers, this was inevitable. I think he could have been given a reprieve if the Nuggets had beat the Lakers, like a "the Nuggets were just really damn good this year" kind of reprieve.

I can't believe it actually happened. There are the obvious reasons for it like the second round failure, blown 3-1 lead, bad chemistry, etc but I didn't think they'd actually do it.

Chris Haynes might be the only reporter who has an in with Kawhi and his camp and he said Doc was a big part of him signing with them. They probably don't make this decision without running it by Kawhi first but it's still interesting. Kawhi can opt out of his deal next year.

Couldn't agree more. & that title was buoyed by the big 3.

JVG would be a great hire IMO. He managed to drag an average Knicks team to the finals, granted that was 21 years ago but hes at least stayed in the game as an analyst and coached T USA recently. Good veteran guy to have around.

Lue's only claim to fame is co-coaching the Cavs to a title. Not convinced he'd be a great pick for the Clips.
