Do you think there are more injuries in the NHL now than 10 years ago?

I was thinking about how often NHL teams lose a player whether for the common "day to day" or the IR.

Is fair to say that twice a month an NHL team could lose a player to some sort of injury?

Fighting is on it's way down. No more broken fingers.
Speed is on it's way up. More crashes into the boards.

I don't want to get into the concussion debate, but rather all encompassing injuries and how teams are able to manage the back and forth call-ups.

I know that TSN has an injury report, but does another site have historical data?
