"Do You Believe in Miracles" Documentary

yea the Documentary really tells the story better, I wish Disney never made a movie on it

Almost couldn't make it past the sappy opening credits. My least favorite aspect of the "Miracle on Ice" legend is the "it made America feel better about itself" codswallop. Yeah, the whole Cold War backdrop explains the fervent reaction at the time, but that the event was in any way associative with gas lines, American hostages or anything else is B.S. I don't recall one single person saying, "things are crap right now, but the U.S. Olympic hockey team sure makes me feel better!"

I've got that but not the movie. Movie was a joke in comparison.
