No we would be better off with what’s here already.
I doubt that. Lehtonen is a solid goalie with solid numbers from last year. He'd still be a decent 1b option or a high-end back-up on many teams in the NHL.

Just tell Budaj that it's 2016-17, and watch him save the kings season while starting every game. Seems simple enough.

If the team overall looked better it would make sense. But it's looking like a lost season anyway. No point in giving up assets for a temporary fix.

What team is trading a goalie atm that would be an improvement over these too? Not like it'll matter, LA is headed towards a long rebuild and fast

Grubauer for???

Doesn't make sense for the Avs to deal him. Varlamov is UFA and they basically got Grubauer as a goalie for the near future.

Doesn't make sense for the Kings to acquire him. Quick is out 3-6 weeks, so they'd need to get back under the cap when he returns. Fitting Grubauer at 3.33 mil would require them swapping out somebody else's contract. Also doesn't make sense for a cap strapped team to have a backup counting 3.33 mil against the cap for the next few years.

What's your offer for Elliott? He's decent enough to bridge the gap and can be depth come the stretch once quick returns. On an expiring deal too so not much worry as far as cap commitment.

I doubt that there would be an offer. Campbell has been fine and budaj/ Peterson could also have a go if he turns into a sieve
