I want them to make it still, because:

A) There is nothing like playoff hockey and it's been 2 years since we participated.

B) Hakstol won't get fired still. I'd bet on an extension before he gets fired.

In 1971,the Canadiens inserted Ken Dryden into their lineup after a late call up...last six regular season games!
They rode Dryden through the playoffs to win the Stanley Cup that year.He won the Conn Smythe trophy as the MVP in the playoffs and the next year he won the Calder for being the rookie of year!
First player ever to do so!
