I like DLR. He's a guy that has shown he can play up and down the line-up.

I think he can do a lot of what's asked of Armia right now... It'd be a shame to lose him to waivers.

It's sucks we have a surplus of forwards
I hope he clears, I actually like the guy as a bottom role player
He could definitely replace Plekanec next season

Think he'll be claimed, He was decent in WC, might have impressed someone. Still, he is another example of Bergevin's development success.

I can see a team claiming and taking a chance on DLR. He's still young, as good size and is on a cheap contract. Plus he's decent on the PK and can play a pretty good defensive game on some teams 4th line. Maybe though his recent heart issues might make other teams think twice and he clears.

I think he's gone ! A big 6'3 young foward who is really good defensively and who can be a really good depth player

De La Rose never really showed any glimpses of being a good player. This was the right move.

    Two reasons he may clear:

    1) his heart issue may turn other teams off.

    2) he is on a Two-Year, One-Way deal worth $900K and his salary in the AHL would be $850K.

If he clears, it's the best situation we could hope for.

Should be claimed. Didn't have much upside but could've been a decent defensive 3C for us at some point. Too many forwards so someone had to go, though.

    He won't clear.

He is a cheap decent 4th line player with size that could even develop into a 3rd liner.

It sucks that it was him getting sacrified.

Sucky side of the business part of the game. Wish we could have kept him around but he'll likely be gone tomorrow.

Ottawa I could see. Coyotes up against the 50 contract limit. would need to shed 1

Doubt he clears, but he's not a big loss. Super easily replaceable.

Risking losing DLR, who has his whole career ahead of him, over Plekanec, who has pretty much his whole career behind him, is not what I would have done.

Some posters couldn't believe I would prefer a new 2nd round pick over DLR before training camp.

Hopefully Plekanec somehow nets us one again at the TDL this year.

I can only surmise attempts by Bergevin to get something for him and the reaction he got.

I'm just not sure or not he gets claimed. Do other GM's stay away due to the heart issues he had? If he clears, this is good news for Laval.

What is clear is no team is interested in making a depth trade with us cause it's obvious Bergevin tried.
