We are now full!

The draft will start tomorrow.

There will be 8 threads made. Six of the threads will be for each division draft. The others will be for the rosters and the other will hold draft information and discussion. The information and discussion thread will be the one sticky'ed.

I don't get the division leader thingy.. why is Leafs_fan handling 2 divisions, why are you? etc.. What's the purpose and meaning of that? Just curious... Or are those in charge of the draft?

All 3 of us run 2 drafts/divisions each. It's a big project, I thought it'd be easier for me and everyone else if I could get help.

The threads should be up by mid-day.

You've probably mentioned it before, but do we draft from the rosters how teams ended the season with (after deadline like you said)? So all the UFA signee's and such become completely irrelevant?

We will be using the rosters over at NHL.com (http://nhl.com/lineups/team/index.html), they have all rosters like they were after the last NHL seasons trade deadline. I really don't think we should be using today's NHL rosters with all the UFA's out there.

As for prospects, we'll use the current HF team charts. I figure only the top rated ones will be picked anyways.

wasnt he traded to st.louis at the deadline. if we are going by the end of season then he should be with st.louis

Lalime was delt to the Blues near draft-day, so I would consider him a Sen for this draft.

whats the point of using the rosters? just as reference as to all the players???

If so... nevermind... I can't wait to get started already.
