DiPietro?

I dont really know if this question has already been answered, but I couldnt really find anything.
I saw DiPietros mask and he has the mexican flag (at least it seems like it is the mexican flag) on the left side.
now DiPietro doesnt really sound mexican.. I always thought hes of italian descent, but now the flag makes me really wonder.
does anyone know what he has to do with mexico?


P.S.: yes im aware that the mexican and italian flag look very similar, but I could swear i saw the eagle on the white of the flag and therefor it should be the mexican... but maybe my mind has been playing tricks with me.

just saw it again, its a black circle, seems to be a screw or a black rubbernipple.. whatever it is, it makes the italian flag look like the mexican if you catch it in the corner of your eye
