I really think its time to move Gagner to the wing or down to the 4th line until his game gets going. He's hurting the team out there. Play Arco in Gagner's spot as 2nd line center.

He could still move him, IMO if Gagner keeps sucking then why should MacT feel obligated to keep up his end of the bargain? Gagner is getting paid at least market value and IMO more, so personally I'd hope that MacT would at least consider it.

finally. He is why Yakupov thinks he is being treated unfairly. Gagner is MacT's lap dog and teachers pet. He is and has been the Oilers worst defensive player game in and game out for years now. He has the losing culture deeply ingrained in his psyche. He should have been moved this summer when his value was high. Now, he is our new Horcoff, overpaid and misplayed. Another shining example of the ineptitude that is the Oilers management.
