Did OLN and the NHL kiss off the west coast?

Why are all the OLN games on the east coast?
I think the furthest west they've gone is Detroit.

For the most part, OLN seems stuck in NY/Philly/Pitts/Boston.

Why not show us SJ? LA? Dallas? Colorado? Minnesota?

And why, oh why, are they limiting themselves to one or two games a week.
Are survivor reruns much better for ratings?

And what happened to the games every Monday and Tuesday?

What's wrong with these guys?

I was thinking the same thing, until I found out St. Louis, San Jose, and Minnesota are on next week. I was pretty glad to hear they finally were showing a doubleheader, instead of showing the same game back to back.

OLN should have signed a better deal and allowed some flexable scheduling. St. Louis is on like 8 more times including a season ending snozefest with Chicago

Haha, yeah.. apparently this guy didn't take a look at the schedual. Lots of Western teams airing, and double headers are awesome.

With so many surprises this season, it was not far off at the beginning of the season to think that maybe teams like Chicago and St Louis could be fighting for a playoff spot by the end of the season. If they are then that will be an exciting game.

If they arent in the playoff picture then it will be fun to watch a game between old rivals with a ton of talented young players that will have something to prove.

Exactly! However, I see the Hawks sneaking into the playoffs with their play as of late.

OLN loves the Flyers, Rangers, and Penguins.

John Davidson is the biggest homer,, he can't even cover it up when the Rangers play. Why isn't Clement doing the games???

No. I didn't look at the "schedual"

I'm commenting on the absolute blackout of western conference games nearly two months into the season.

Bettman has said that OLN was at the mercy of the previously established schedule, and that next season the NHL is going to make an effort to get a lot more West Coast teams on the national broadcasts.

I would think so. There are plenty of people in this country whose lives are so devoid of anything of significance or excitement that they schedule their mere existence around whether or not "Random Crappy Actor A" gets kicked off from "Random Lame Fake Reality Show A."
