I think Dez is pretty much done, but if he takes snaps out of the slot and gets some red-zone looks he could be fine in a depth role.

That's the other thing. It's not like they need him to be "Dez Bryant" or even to be a #2 WR. They just need somebody to be a #3 or #4. Ginn and Meredith, between them, probably would've caught 80-100 passes this season and you've got to replace at least some of that.

But could Dez handle being a 4th option who sees the field 20% of snaps and gets 3-4 targets a game?

I mean, right now he's seeing 0% of snaps and getting zero targets per game. I don't see anybody else knocking on his door.

TBH I don't even want the Saints to sign him because I think he's kinda washed up. I would rather they sign somebody like Michael Floyd or hell even Brandon Coleman who has been with the team before and is familiar with the offense. But Dez's "character issues" have been blown way out of proportion because it's Dallas and everything gets blown out of proportion.
