I mean look at these records, and yes I keep a notebook of my hockey travels lol.

5-1 in MSG
4-0 in Montreal
2-0 in the Coliseum
2-0 in Tampa
2-0 in Nashville
1-0 in Denver
1-1 in Philly
0-1 in Brooklyn
0-1 in Washington
I'd have to break mine down, but I'm probably like 2-20 in Sunrise during the regular season (and 2 other wins in the playoffs). I haven't seen 24 games there, so it's probably not that bad. My Tampa record is a little better, but I did see us play in Tampa back in 07 when I was on vacation before even moving down here and we were 2-0-0 there my first year living here, which was 11-12.

I think I have a winning record at MSG. Last game I saw there was a 3-2 win in 10-11.

My record at Nassau is probably BRUTAL. I went there at least once a year for like 15 or 17 years. I've seen some wins there, but I've seen some brutal losses. Like a Yann Danis shutout against us, Marty getting blown up shortly after returning from injury a couple weeks later in 2009, and DiPietro last two career shutouts in 09-10 and then 10-11. I did see us beat them on MLK day in 2011. Tedenby had a goal. I also saw us beat them 1-0 in my last game there when I was visiting for Thanksgiving of 2011. Hedberg had the shutout that day. I think I saw one game a year there between 1995-2011 and maybe a couple in some years. And a few as a little kid in the 80's.

I am 1-0 in Denver, but that was in the old building, which was known as the Big Mac. That was a 1-0 win where Steve Thomas scored the game's only goal with about a minute left in regulation. Marty vs Roy. That was January 3rd of 1996. So it's just been 23 years the other day.

I think Coleman is one of the most surprising players I've seen.

Was very confident he would be one of those career AAAA players or a Mike Sislo/Nick Lappin type.

He makes striking out on players like Quenneville, Boucher (who was a later round pick anyway, though the same year as Coleman, but he was a very highly rated prospect due to that 50-something goal record season in Sarnia where he scored more than Stamkos) and even Tedenby and Josefson a little easier to swallow. And while Tedenby and Josefson were so long ago, they're really only one and two years older than Coleman. He's a lot closer to their age than he is guys like Zacha, Bratt and Nico and even Wood, who were coming up and breaking into the league the same time as him. Coleman is like 8 months younger than Jacob Josefson.

New Jersey(No Fanz!)
so….a win?

feels cheap due to shootout…..even worse that (apparently) stafford had a paw in it….

Wins are Wins.

Don't give a crap how we get them so long as we get them.

And so what if Stafford had a paw in it? It's the only situation he excels at these days. :dunno:

Did Staff say CRABS?

NVM, it was Grabs.

Not as funny.

Mentioning Grabner in any capacity is never funny. o_O

@Bleedred would know.

So you’re telling there’s still a chance Josefson can still be salvaged? Do we still own his NHL rights?:sarcasm:

First 2 or maybe 3 albums (or however many there were before that) had some cool stuff, but I don't do the Joshua Tree or anything after it.

Bullet The Blue Sky is a really good one off that album though.

All of his **** is so easy to play on guitar. That Edge guy. I just can’t replicate the tone yet.
Henry Rollins used to rip them for having the same 2 or 3 riffs in every song.

I think we deserved to have the win tonight. We didn't play a bad 3 on 3 like we usually have, where we're massively outshot.

Kuemper was really good in-game, but I had flashbacks of some of our shootout goalie performances from 13-14 when I saw him in that.

easy, sure……its like painting a rothko or a pollack…. thing is he 'invented' his own sound.

….check out some youtube of his guitar tech setting his gear and equipment up……all of its set up perfectly for whatever song he needs……and his tech proves that anyone can play it if you have the gear

We couldn't score for shit, but neither Brodeur or Schneider could make a single shootout save. And it seemed like nobody on the other end put it into their pads or shot it wide or off the post. Everybody coming in on them had Mike Bossy precision. Just a bizarre streak

The Village
The Joshua Tree was another massive one that year.
I think I told this story once...

I was in a store a year ago and a Cream/Eric Clapton song was on. The sales guy said "this song came out 20 years before the Joshia Tree by U2"...

"... and they're currently celebrating The Joshua Tree's 3oth anniversary".

Just shoot me now.
