And now they have 19 shots in the third period...and 0 goals. This game is the perfect **** you to all the shot-based stats.

Mostly just score effects.

It actually makes the game look closer, along with the score.

We were outplayed worse in the first 30 minutes than any game this year.

thats how i feel about it... gonna have rough period but good goaltending keeps you in it.. got some breaks and almost made something of it.. short a few key players right now.. need to heal up

Eh for like 35 minutes they absolutely did nothing. Blackwood is the only reason they were even within shouting distance long enough to remember they had to play a hockey game the last twenty-five minutes. When you're in the hole we're in, you can't afford to give away winnable road games like this.

severs and vatanen are not good defensive defenseman.. both make poor decisions with puck often... having both in lineup is actually gonna cause stress... they would be better off without one of them on this team.

they were tied in the third period for a good part. it's more than score effects if it's a tie and then just a 1 goal deficit in the third.
but the only reason they were in it was because of blackwood in the first 30 min or so
