Johansson actually seems to have woken up recently. 7 points in his last 9, including two game-tying goals. That's nice.
Always nice to find the positives.
It's feasible we get some sort of decent asset for him if we fall out of the picture entirely by the deadline.
Also, Bratt has yet to go consecutive games without registering a point. I think he's the 3rd best forward on this roster, very close behind Palmieri for 2nd and ahead of Nico.
stayed up, blah. going away for two weeks on friday so don’t have to watch this abortion of a team for a while. expect that when i get back they will be completely out of it
when you're away, do NOT watch the devils. esp not right now. we're not something that can help you relaxstayed up, blah. going away for two weeks on friday so don’t have to watch this abortion of a team for a while. expect that when i get back they will be completely out of it
All he has to do is shoot more and take the puck to the net more often. Besides that he has been great.Still think Nico has been our best forward this year. The rate he draws penalties is amazing. And he's a really solid defensive forward too.
Grabner had 25 goals at the time of the trade...Johansson might not have 25 points at the deadlineIf Grabner got a blue chip prospect and a 2nd, Marjo will surely bring back that and more.
Yeah, I'd like to see him shoot a little more though. I think he's one of those guys that doesn't realize how good he is. Like Gomez, who had a surprisingly good shot but always looked to pass.have to say Bratt is my favorite player on the team right now. his creativity and confidence are as good as anyone and he's even trying to throw his body around more this season, even if it's just bouncing off guys lol. kid is special
That article about Shero making it seem like this fall-off was expected and Hynes being the long term answer
has me as down about this team as I have been in a long long time.
This organization drafted so poorly for so long that, unless we win another lotto pick, it will be quite some time before we are competitive again. 2-3 years or longer maybe?
really dont see why Hall stays tbh
if hall does want out then he would bring back a king's ransom
Have to agree, I think Shero would need to target a team who can sign him longtermNo, he wouldn't. The Devils would get the normal collection of stuff - a 1st round pick, maybe 2 of them, a prospect or two, and a contract of some sort. This sounds like a lot but it seldom amounts to a whole lot.
