There was a 1 one 1 play in the second with hall where in 17-18 he would have burned the defender.this year it was clear he wasn’t going to beat him and he tried a pull up and shoot and it was pathetic.

If that's the case they're only looking at the stats, which aren't great cause of his first couple of games and the team frequently playing like a tirefire but this game is a perfect example of how the defense is more a hinderance to the goalie than vice-versa, even with Blackwood giving up two eh goals.

Also they should look in a mirror. They lost to this Devils team and Blackwood with their high prices goalie giving up 5.

Or that we have beaten them twice now this season.

Not once this year have I thought “ I’m so glad Hall is on our team “
His MVP season it looked like he would /could will out a win by himself .
This year .... what the hell is going on ?
He is playing not to get hurt and has no extra gear like he had before .
I used to think it would destroy the Devils if he left . Now I am looking forward to see what we can get in return from trading him .
Who wants a player on the team that checks out completely because things aren’t going good ?

He will undoubtedly start playing well as soon as he is traded but ... why ? Bull crap that he doesn’t try his arse off when he’s needed the most

Saw a little bit of the game, just catching up on some highlights. Holy crap Goose had a great game, Blackwood looked a bit leaky but held the fort with us giving up 458 shots.

I don't know how or why we gave up so many shots, Habs didn't look great giving up a ton of odd man breaks either. Kinda weird, didn't look like fire wagon hockey, I guess just two bad teams. Looked entertaining though.

More then we gave up. Guaranteed.
Without an extension as a rental you're looking at a pick and a prospect. the return won't be as impressive as you're hoping. same as it was when we got lars. It sucks but trading hall marks the end of your rebuild. pop a cork, celebrate. The big question is where does he go next year. Whoever it is are instant contenders... to get the first pick at the draft.

glad the players earned a victory .. but ..they were fortunate ... capitalized on montreal mistakes.. which isnt all that good a hockey team.. especially with price not masking their warts. tonight MB held the fort ...this kind of game on most nights earns you a loss .. will enjoy the victory for now..a few guys played very well tonight:

gusev
severson
coleman
simmonds
subban wasn't a complete crap show.
hughes was solid

once again hall has an opportunity to make it a two goal lead in third and cannot capitalize.. if today were the trade deadline.. this guys wouldn't fetch what we think.... he didn't play bad but if this is the taylor hall from now on its. not someone you wanna spend more than about 8 million per on .. if that.. but enough negativity .. nice win moving on ..

Yeah. Hall has turned back into a proverbial pumpkin.

He's not a MAX-Contract player anymore.

Hall is following in Parise's footsteps - curse of the #9? He plays like Parise did after his injury year too - playing way too safe and trying to limp through the last year of his contract to not get hurt and ruin his free agency value.

If that's how he's acting, trade him for a bag of pucks and get it over with.

I do NOT want to go through another Pari$e situation again.

Just watched the condensed game.
So Price saved Hynes ass for now..
Hall was a complete non-factor - flip him for a LD or an actual NHL goalie as long as he still have some value.

Guess Gusev, Boquist and Zacha get benched for the next game...
