I know some players were discounting this in pregame interviews, but I've seen this trend play out over and over so many times in so many sports. Folks smarter than me (I think) have theorized about coming home to wives, families, girlfriends, problems that have come up at home while on the road, etc. and being distracted. Who knows? But there really does seem to be something to it.
