That was my first thought as well. I expected him to be much older.
If Gragnani had a defensive side to his game he would be an NHL player. I saw him player junior alot and he had all the tools and skill except the willingness and/or learn to play defensively. Hopefully it is something he learned or adapted his game to while in Europe
This is another one of those moves that makes me wonder if Shero and Co. are expecting someone like Hrabarenka to step up a bit and spend some time away from the AHL next season. Gragnani's a good depth option but he's more like an AHL Zidlicky than anything else, not exactly the dependable substitute to look for when injuries stack up.
