I keep thinking back to the ''John Quenneville only played so many games here last year because we stunk'' comment from Shero a few years ago and try to apply it to this situation.

''Cory Schneider is only up here because we stink''.

But if you asked Shero, he should probably be saying ''Cory Schneider is only up because I wouldn't buy him out after last year and now I don't have a job because of it, among a few other things''.
