I don’t understand why he did that. And batting it in that direction, no less. Couldn’t he have batted it the other way? They still could have easily scored if he did that, but what he did instead just makes him look really stupid and brain dead.

He was trying to hit it over the net, that’s the only logical explanation that doesn’t involve total vapor lock thinking he was in the offensive zone.

Couldn't Greene just take his hand off his stick and bat the puck with his hand into the corner or behind the net? He was definitely close enough to do so and as long as he didn't catch it and close his hand on the puck, there is no penalty. Instead he tries to lumberjack it and right into his own net.

The most shocking thing about that play is that it was Andy Greene.

Hockey IQ is by far his biggest strength, and what he did there is a no-no^3.

I just got a call from Devils sales (I didn't pick up) about 5 minutes ago. Probably trying to sell holiday packs would be my guess.

Devils sales reps have the hardest job in New Jersey at this point.

Brian Boyle 5.4. And he's who I would have guessed.

Damon Severson 4.3. And he's who I would have guessed.


Sometimes the eye-test is satisfactory.


EDIT: Pavel Zacha 3.0 is the best Devils forward. Sure, he cant score, but the kid is dang solid defensively, I'll say that much.

LOL, no. Just sold my tickets for $45. Attendance will be fine, get out of here with this garbage. It will be 14-15,000 attendance like most Devil games in December.
