On the bright side, even these games where we are outplayed, we never give up any glorious scoring chances.
War-on-ice maps out high, medium, and low quality chances, by the location to where the majority of goals occur. I believe the Leafs only had one more high quality chance than us and one more medium quality chance than us.

It's also true that we haven't gone through this scenario--blowing a lead and losing in OT/shootout--a lot this season. Last season, it felt like a routine, but this year, that hasn't been the case. I think being able to hold onto those points has really helped us be more competitive this year.
Last night was bad, but at least in terms of the result its been an anomaly for us this season. That's the positive in the negative.
