AAAAAAND THIS TRAIN CONTINUES TO ROLL!! :yo:

Devils continue to get it done on this Western Canada Road Trip (which is kind of funny to call it that since they stopped at Seattle along the way.....lol).

Started off slow by going down a goal (that seems awfully familiar)....

But the Devils around Vitek played better defensively AND (most importantly), Vitek was more in the game than he has been.

Nico gets things started offensively later with a goal off a pass by Bratt to tie the game up.

Jesper Bratt later gets another bounce off himself for a goal that's confirmed for a f***ing change.

I guess Palat not being there nearby helped. :eviltongu

Regardless, it's now a 2-pt night thus far for Bratt (much like it should've been last game but....grrrr....whatever, I'm salty)

Anyway, Devils take back the lead 2-1 after a lengthy review and we play on.

In the 3rd period, Devils get another bounce this time seemingly off of Timo Meier but it looked like on the replay that it never hit Timo but the Defender so it looks like it will be Holtz's goal.

Regardless, Devils got the "breathing-room" goal there thanks to Holtz and Timo crashing the net.

And from there, it was a case of shutting it down (while taking the opportunities offensively if they were there) by NJ.

Calgary had its chances and even scored to get it to within 1, but like in Seattle, the Devils held on for dear life to go along with a faaar better outing (to date) by Vitek.

Oh did I mention Nico got the EMPTY-NET goal? :D

Oh Captain, My Captain...Indeed.

Nico with 2-pt night; Bratt with a 2-pt night.

Devils win 4-2 on the road!!! LET'S GOO BAYBEEEEE!!!

This type of victory could only serve to re-build VV's confidence (at least I hope it does).

Oh and this is another game where Jack is kept off the scoresheet. (hopefully he gets it going again but as of right now, his teammates are picking him up)

And now we move on to Edmonton where McJesus and Dry-Saddle have been friggin' monsters on the ice and Akira will have his hands full.

Still, my faith is slowly being restored bit by bit.

LET'S GO DEVILS!!!! :devdance::devdance::devdance::devdance::devdance::devdance:

Simon Nemec is still very fun to watch, btw.
