“In an interview on our airwaves, Alain Nasreddine from @NJDevils tells us that other things are coming to NJ, especially on attack. The club still has a lot of room on the payroll for acquisitions.”

Stating the obvious here, but still encouraging that the coaches and GM are on the same page here about adding talent.

It might be a sign that he shouldn’t have been our assistant coach but he didn’t have a job last season. I guess he was with the team in some way because I don’t think they had the heart to full on fire people. (Which is genuinely nice of them, lots of teams had no problem doing that and Buffalo literally fired almost everyone.)

He’s going to be a huge step up from typical ACs in the AHL which are often just ex-players. It’s a job.

edit: Was he still an assistant coach last year? I thought they just shoved him to the side and gave him a fake job.

Meghan Duggan probably made his position, along with Dr. Aimee Kimball, redundant.

Kowalsky never seemed to adjust well to the move from Albany (where he was AHL Coach of the year and his family remained) to Binghamton. I think Hynes screwed him further by bringing him up to NJ.

:sarcasm:

But seriously, he's not the player he once was.

He'd still be better than some of our players not named Jack, Nico, and Bratt, though.

He has the worst xGF% of any of the regulars and his GF% was under 42%. Phil is the one dragging the overall team performance down

On the other hand... :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Sharangovich is so damn wholesome. Really hope he outplays whatever top 6 option we add and ends that discussion.

I still support Fitz going out and getting a scoring winger until we know what's real with all these young guys. But hoping for the best.
