He was exaggerating, but they scored on Kinkaid and Nash still thought it was Blackwood. They didn't figure it out for a solid 10-15 minutes after it happened.

Nash was horrible last night, utterly embarrassing as a colour guy. Their broadcast overall spent more time whining about every single play than they did calling the game. One of the worst in the league, easily.

The competition was for emergency goalie for the arena, in case either team lost both goalies in a game. Much like that accountant up in Chicago that ended up in a game last year.

I'm not saying that's going to be blackwoods path, just the similarity of having very good games as soon as he came up

still odd considering one was an undrafted 27 year old, career AHL-er to that point, and the other is a 22 year old 2nd round pick that was pretty highly regarded

but whatever
