I didn't know he was staff either, but I remember him being the color guy on the radio. In fact, I *THINK* he was doing color in the game where Johnny Mac got us in the playoffs for the first time. I think the play by play guy was named John Moore or something like that too (no relation, I think).

We didn't have cable, so I spent many a night listening to the Devils radio call. Brooks was my favorite radio guy. I'll always be a fan of his because of his work back then. He was a total homer, but I loved it.

I wonder if Zacha will be back long term, or if this is just until Nico is back.

I don't like the idea of him yoyo-ing back and forth. But, I do think he needs to score a few goals somewhere.
