Claude Giroux: (F)44 games played, 22 goals, 29 assists, and 51 points. He is the face of the Detroit Red Wings franchise and deserves a spot in the All Star Game. Phenomenal numbers and he is just starting to heat up.
Henrik Lundqvist: (G) 44 games played, 28 wins (tied for the league lead), 92% save percentage, 2.28 goals against average, and 2 shutouts. Henrik is hands down a top 3 goaltender in the HFNHL and deserves to go to this years all star game. He is a franchise goaltender and with him in net you always have a chance to come out with a win.
Ryan Wilson: (D) 44 games played, 2 goals, 14 assists, 16 points, 61 hits, +/- 15, and he averages over 26 minutes played per game. The defensively minded blue liner is a workhorse and he comes to play. His stats may not be eye popping but his defensive prowess more than makes up for that.
Although not nominated, Derek Stepan and Jarome Iginla are more than worthy of being all stars and should be given a second look.
