Voted for Orange Julius. I think he's an underrated guy in the system. He's developing pretty well, and he's been productive in a men's league.

Add Nosek. I mean the guy just signed 2 year contract, 1-way in the second year, played 6 games in the NHL last year. I fully expect him to battle for 4th line spot in the camp.

I feel like we're picking from a bunch of guys who have an Andy Miele ceiling, goalies, and guys who we haven't seen enough of to really honestly assess. Went with Turgeon, but I doubt anyone from Hicketts down is ever a regular NHL player.

I am not sure I get the Miele reference in this context, but I generally agree with your other point. 90% of our prospects at any given point in time are not likely to make the NHL as a regular player.

Oh, I just mean that their ceiling is 'good career AHLer'. He was the first guy that met that description that came to mind.

Jensen will turn 26 on sebtember, hard to think him as any kind of prospect anymore.

Jensen will turn 26 on sebtember, hard to think him as any kind of prospect anymore.

Nosek is a little younger but I think that is what has kind of happened to both of them in terms of this summer poll. They just are looked at fine if they make it kinda guys but they aren't been counted as prospects. Nosek is a little tougher on that though he turns 24 in September and like you said Jensen turns 26.

Actually wouldn't be surprised to see either one in the league. Nosek should get more looks with the Wings, I think Jensen is likely better off heading somewhere else soon to get a bigger chance.
