He had to be waived prior to the deadline to play in the AHL playoffs I think

I believe he was in the AHL at the deadline

okay then he can play. A few teams sent guys down so they could play in AHL playoffs

Not sure if GR are in the playoffs or not, but I'm guessing if they are, then this is to get him down there for the playoffs
