Due to a numbers crunch, the Florida Panthers are putting depth goaltender Patrik Rybar on the trade block. Have to resign Pavel Francouz, sign a few prospects under the new rules, and also bring in a veteran back-up this offseason. Doesn't leave much room for Rybar.
Rybar had a very good first season in North America in the Red Wings system. The 25 year old posted better numbers than veteran Harri Sateri and was consistently among the best statistical rookies in the AHL this year. Would only need a qualifying offer from you before the offseason.
Asking price won't be much under the circumstances. Looking for a later round pick in a future draft.
