would be a good add for Detroit. our running game is horrendous. Would be nice to have Demarco / Riddick in the backfield and draft a bigger more north south RB like Chubb, Ballage or Freeman etc.
Ameer has been pretty disappointing and his running style isn't beneficial imo.

You don't want DeMarco Murray.

I don't think Murray is done but he shouldn't be a top target. Lewis and McKinnon are the RBs to go after if you want one in free agency. They're different than Murray/Stewart but that's a good thing.

obviously he isn't the long term answer but he could be a short term roster plug. Ameer isn't the answer for what Detroit needs imo.

Murray is a no go because he can't break tackles or create yardage anymore. The Lions don't exactly have a road grading o-line.

Comments from another message board:

"Front office leaving no stone unturned, eh?"
"A stone would roll for more yards."

I thought maybe it was a Bevell/Cable thing but they're once again looking at older/slower backs even with those two gone. Why?
