I'm excited for this as they've been one of my favorite bands the last decade.

I really liked Gore despite some heat it took.

Terry Date is back producing this one. Ten tracks I believe is the final so it will probably be a relatively short album.

Let's hope so, White Pony together with Adrenaline were their best albums imo.

True, but I also have a soft spot for Diamond Eyes (and the heaviness of the self-titled album, and Saturday Night Wrist, and...)

Their last three albums have been stellar IMO. Gonna give the new single a few listens, but it sounds promising.

Ohms is a decent single, 3/5 stars in my opinion. The end part was really cool and they could have been a little more proggy/experimental.

I really love Gore.

It's no Koi No Yokan which might be my favorite album they've done, but it's pretty good and I rate it above Diamond Eyes or Saturday Night Wrist or s/t.

Album artwork for Ohms is very 80s, reminds me of Duran Duran or Prince.

I'm not the biggest Deftones fan but I like some of their songs. (Bored, My own Summer, Knife Party, Digital Bath, Minerva, Be quiet and drive (far away).
I have not really got into their latter stuff but I can say I can have adapted really nicely to the music industry and they don't feel outdated. They adapted their sound over the years but it's still Deftones you hear. I think they evolved in a nice way! Ohms single is good.
