Yappi is right. Binnington played a crap load of hockey between January and June. We’d be wise not to run him into the ground and keep him fresh for the stretch run. I would expect Allen to get a high percentage of starts on the road though and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in net tomorrow.

Not sure how long it will last, but overall, there are far worse options for a backup goalie. The worst part about Allen is his contract, but it's been manageable. Im curious how many GM's called about him this offseason. If Carolina didnt, that's a big mistake.
