Flyers played a strong, physical game and covered a lot of ice in the neutral and defensive zones. They were quick on the transition and looked to have their legs under them all night.

Blues’ top lines (non-Schwartz category), PP units and top pairing looked sluggish for much of the game — poor communication and coverage — and still pulled out the loser point. Would’ve liked to have seen ten in a row, but hey - maybe our new Blues felt guilty about taking all the records lately. :)

The Blues had the puck enough in the OT, but they didn't set up any good offensive plays. With 3 men in control of the puck, you should be able to set up some higher percentage chances than just shooting at the goalie, who sees the shot all the way, and hoping he'll make a mistake. They could at least have the 3rd man skating in for the rebound, with the first man passing, second making a move, and then shooting. They didn't have much coordination among the 3 players in the offensive zone in OT, which is the best way to create offence other than getting a lucky breakaway in your own zone when regaining possession.

Blues played a C level game and still got a point. That was a pretty poor game all around and the lack of urgency showed big time

I will gladly take the point as we continue to pad our lead in the division.

didn't realize the rink in St. Louis was open for swimming lessons. **** me thank god your power play is dogsh!t
Blues played like total ass and STILL almost beat your trash squad  Flyers are incredibly bad and have no talent waiting in the Wings. Enjoy being mediocre for the next ten years.

Fought back to get a point and take 1st in the league, unusually bad 3v3 OT cost the 2nd point.

Be nice to that Flyers fan, he's just really excited that the 2 points tonight will let his team hold on to the 2nd WC for another 2 days before they get passed by Columbus and Florida.
Oooof, in a dog fight for a welfare spot against those powerhouses.

There are more top teams in the East this year but once you get past the 4 or 5 teams, its total trash after that.

They interviewed the Flyers coach in the middle of the game and he was complaining about the reffing and both players they interviewed complained about the refs. The refs were pretty bad but it’s odd to hear them all complain about it.
Refs were horrendous tonight and its a damn shame the Blues top PP decided to take the night off because the tears flowing would have been a sight to see.

Intense game. Flyers played pretty dirty and deserved even more calls that they received.

I could see the OTL coming. Got a point though so we’re fine.
