He's much better then advertisedMikkola seems to have a good sense of when and when not to step up and close the gap. And you just can’t teach that.
He’s certainly doing everything he needs to to stay in the lineup. I’m wondering now if maybe Berube expected him to play this well and that’s why he made the comments about it being the time for Mikkola to show he belongs.He's much better then advertised

Mikkola looked very good again. Just about every player looked good in this one.
I just dont see how he can be scratched, He's been so solid. Noticable but not flashy. He's not afraid to get involved in the Ozone either. With his minutes climbing, seems the coaches are trusting him more and more. I'd guess they'd scratch BortuzzoHe’s certainly doing everything he needs to to stay in the lineup.
