How many bad plays Sanford did last game he should be automatically be out of lineup, but not. If some other player would do those mistakes he would get benched under game, but Sanford only get promoted to better lineup.

I wouldn't read anything into this. If he gets to play, it will only because he happened to be the extra forward on the roster when one of the other 6 D got hurt. If Mikkola had been on the roster it would have been him.
