Not sure if it’s the right way to approach these polls, but I usually go by who I think would be the best player if the season started right now.

I think Hughes is going to have a strong bounce back year, so I’ll go with him. I’d be surprised if he isn’t top-4 in defence scoring with at least some improvement on defence too.
