OT: Decline in Oil prices = Decline in attendance?

I put it in OT but it relates to the oilers. With the decline in oil prices I predict we might see a sharp decline in attendance due to people not wanting to spend money in these uncertain times , I myself work in the oil industry so believe me I'd rather not see this happening but on a positive note from a very disgruntled fans perspective is people will finally stop going to these meaningless games to support this circus once and for all. I haven't gone to a game since Lowe discriminated against the best fans in the NHL.
