Seems like alot but I was reading something last week and basically they said the Kings had no choice but to over pay him. Regardless if it's an overpayment, glad he's on board and glad we won't hear any more talk of him potentially leaving. Hopefully he keeps improving and lives up to his contract.

Hopefully McNair is the guy to steer them back into being consistent playoff contenders. Divac wasn't a good choice to run the team from day one and in over his head. Ranadive finally came to his senses and looked outside the box.

It's risky but he's their franchise player. Paying him now gives them good odds of retaining him in 5 years.
