David Perron

I played with David & his older Pascal Perron in the minors and Dave's skill is unreal... I didn't talk to him recently but back in the days he was a "mangeux de puck", not sure if it changed. I wish him the best of luck with STL tough!

Quick aside about David:

I volunteered at the draft this past weekend. I worked on the draft board and was behind the stage for the whole thing. On the 2nd day, David comes wandering backstage (the only prospect to do so).
He said he was just interested in seeing how everything worked. He hung around, chatted to a few of us. He was quite freindly and still, a day later, a bit awestruck about the whole prospect of being drafted. He said he was just walking around the arena and wanted to take in as much of the experience as he could.
It was just a few minutes, but he came across as very humble - seems like a good kid.

You couldn’t help but be happy for the kid ... well, except for the fact that he has to go to the Blues.
