There was discussion earlier this year (I think it was Elliotte Friedman) that Vegas would only be able to return one of Perron and James Neal.
I don’t see any reason why Vegas couldn’t retain him, they have enough cap space to keep Neal and Perron while still going after Karlsson or Tavares.
I mean so long as they sign reasonable deals to have a chance of winning the cup would it all fit.William Karlsson, Shea Theodore and Colin Miller all need deals too. As do Schmidt and Tuch next season. It could get tight

Really depends on what kind of contracts they want. Giving them 5 years or more is asking for problems. They have some very good prospects in Glass and Suzuki etc. Have to be careful giving 30 year olds big contracts. No need to put yourself in cap trouble when you dont have to.I don’t see any reason why Vegas couldn’t retain him, they have enough cap space to keep Neal and Perron while still going after Karlsson or Tavares.
LOL, no he won't.Perron should be seeing offers over 7 mil on the free agent market based on his previous season. Don't see why he wouldn't get a 4 year, 30 million deal somewhere. I don't think I'd do it as a GM but I can see someone taking that shot.

66 points in 70 games in a contract year tends to get someone to overpay on a UFA.

For 44 points? Yuck
He definitely won't get 7 based on his track record, but could see someone giving him like 5 years @ 5.5-6
